There are two ways to obtain a certificate of criminal record (absence thereof):

  • At the Information Analysis Center of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and at the information centers of the agencies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Main Department of Internal Affairs, and Departments of Internal Affairs of constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

  • At the Consulate General of the Russian Federation – this is not an option if you need your certificate legalized or apostilled.
